“Coping with the Aftermath of Conflict and War: Loss, Recovery,and Well-being”

The program will addressloss, recovery, and well-being as it relates to both civilians, including impact on women and children, as well as soldiers and veterans. The panel will also discuss violent conflicts and wars of recent years which have also resulted in displacement of survivors resulting in great numbers seeking safety and coping with loss. Outcomes of supportive and therapeutic interventions will also be discussed.
