This program is in recognition of 2010 Human Rights Day and the achievements of human rights defenders and advocates. Speakers will address human rights from the perspective of discrimination of persons with disabilities, the right to health for women, access to clean water and a healthy environment, peace and security, international human rights law, and financing strategies and opportunities for development.
